Purple Lady Prize for Passion and Proficiency in Geography Awarded to Alexander Pfau '23

Purple Lady Prize for Passion and Proficiency in Geography
Awarded to Alexander Pfau '23

​​​​​The BLS National Geographic Geography Bee provides students with an opportunity to test their knowledge of world geography is a spirited contest with their peers and compete for hundreds of dollars in prizes. Final round, semi-finalists and finalists all received gift cards and Alexander was awarded a check for $118 and the Purple Lady Prize for Passion and Proficiency in Geography.

Geography Bees are becoming a part of the Boston Latin School tradition in Class V and Classes I-IV. The Class V Geo Bee was held thanks to the support of Boston Latin School history faculty, alumni. and friends through the Boston Latin School Association, notably Stuart Kaplan ’51 and Barbara Meislin.
