The Biology II course is a laboratory science that focuses on the in-depth study of select disciplines of biology. The course is available as an elective to juniors and seniors that have successfully completed Biology I and Chemistry I. It is designed for those students who have been exposed to, are excited by the topics in Biology I, and would like to continue a more rigorous study. This course offers further exploration of topics such as infectious disease, metabolic disease, neurological disease, and cancer. It is made possible from a Science Education Partnership Award from the National Institutes of Health and Boston Public Schools.
Chemistry is a prerequisite for the course.
